1. Original Equipment Manufacturer. The manufacturer or producer of
computing equipment (hardware or software).
2. OEM software refers to software bundled with (or licensed
for use with) OEM supplied equipment. OEM software is frequently distributed
without a box or a manual, but is cheaper than non-OEM software.
