Virtual Private Server

VPS
Virtual Private Server. A web server that is administered by a customer
as though it were a single dedicated server, but which is one of many
virtual servers running on the same physical server. This allows a
hosting company to host multiple VPS on the same server. A VPS is
therefore much cheaper than a dedicated server, and has many of the
advantages of a dedicated server.
